What SPF level does Pavise Dynamic Age Defense™ provide?

Pavise Dynamic Age Defense™ provides SPF 30 and broad-spectrum protection against UVA, UVB, as well as high-energy visible light, with a PA++++ rating, the highest level of UVA protection on the PA scale. Powered by DiamondCore® zinc oxide, it helps defend against UV damage, the cause of 90% of skin aging. As a 100% mineral sunscreen, it begins protecting skin immediately upon application.

Is Pavise sunscreen mineral or chemical?

Pavise is 100% mineral, formulated exclusively with DiamondCore® zinc oxide and no chemical UV filters. Mineral formulas work primarily at the skin’s surface to physically deflect UV rays rather than absorb them, making them a gentler choice for sensitive, reactive or post-procedure skin.

What makes mineral sunscreen preferable to other sunscreen?

Mineral sunscreens sit on top of the skin and reflect UV rays away, working immediately upon application, while chemical sunscreens need about 20 minutes to absorb before they're effective. Mineral formulas are also usually better tolerated by sensitive and acne-prone skin, since they're less likely to cause irritation, allergic reactions, or clogged pores. Is Pavise suitable for sensitive skin?

How much Pavise Dynamic Age Defense should I use?

Apply it as the last step of your morning routine, after cleansing and any serum. Pavise’s directions, as retailers print them, are two pumps for the face and one pump for the neck and décolleté (after confirming on the Pavise label). Reapply when you are in direct sun for long periods, and after swimming or sweating.

Does Pavise leave a white cast?

Pavise describes Dynamic Age Defense as transparent on all skin tones. Mineral sunscreens can look different on different skin, so try it in the morning before you commit. Pavise also offers a refill capsule, which cuts packaging waste.

Dynamic Age Defense™

Dynamic Age Defense is Pavise’s approach to protecting skin from UV and oxidative stress while delivering antioxidants. DiamondCore zinc oxide is a mineral filter that provides SPF 30 and PA++++ UVA protection. Pavise reports that it eliminates 80% of reactive oxygen species [confirm source]. The formula also contains niacinamide, astaxanthin, Pycnogenol, silymarin, licorice root extract, and tranexamic acid. That is what a mineral sunscreen can do beyond blocking UV.
